Swimmer Lewis Clareburt trying to block out the burden as he begins his final Olympics preparations

Swimmer Lewis Clareburt is trying to block out the burden placed on his shoulders - not to mention arms, legs and feet - as he begins his final preparations for the Olympics

The Commonwealth Games and world championship bronze medalist heads a seven-strong New Zealand team to Tokyo.

He's seen in his specialist 400 metres individual medley as the country's best chance of winning a swimming medal since Danyon Loader's double gold 25 years ago.

The tee times are out for golf's US Open and organisers have resisted the temptation to group defending champion Bryson DeChambeau with Brooks Koepka .

DeChambeau claims he would've been okay playing alongside Koepka.

Paul Pogba's hailing a crucial win for world champions France to start their European Championship football campaign.

Didier Deschamps' side has beaten Germany 1-nil in Munich to open their account.

    Pogba says the result's significant.
