    A swimmer swept out in a rip yesterday is still is missing at Auckland's Piha Beach, with searches continuing


    Surf lifeguards understand the man - who was with a group of six others - couldn't swim.

    They say the group were between the flags - but got into trouble in the rough conditions.

    His companions were rescued from the rip by lifeguards late yesterday afternoon.
