    Alexander Zverev is in awe of his semifinal opponent at the US tennis Open - someone who he describes as the greatest men's tennis player ever


    The German has gone down in the last four to top seed and Serbian Novak Djokovic in five sets, prolonging Zverev's wait for a maiden Grand Slam title.

    He says there's a reason Djokovic has won 20 majors, and is seeking a record-breaking 21st on Monday.



    Djokovic will face second seeded Russian Daniil Medvedev in the decider who today defeated Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime in straight sets.
