    A sigh of relief for Alexander Zverev


    The fourth seed has beaten 14-time champion Rafael Nadal in straight sets to advance to the second round at the French Open.

    Zverev says the tennis world has focussed attention on the contest, but he can hopefully now slip out of the limelight and build momentum.



    Elsewhere, women's third seed Coco Gauff is through in straight sets and men's fifth seed Daniil Medvedev has advanced in four.
