ASB Tennis Classic champion Clara Tauson has pinpointed the moment she felt something was wrong with Naomi Osaka during the final

Osaka retired hurt after winning the opening set 6-4 - Tauson says her opponent was not serving at full power.

In Sydney, Coco Gauff and Taylor Fritz have guided the United States to United Cup glory with a 2-nil triumph over Poland in the final.

Pace bowler Matt Henry is pointing to a regular diet of international cricket as the key behind his strong form for New Zealand.

He returned figures of four for 19 during the nine-wicket win over Sri Lanka in the opening one-day international at Wellington's Basin Reserve.

Henry has taken one wicket or more in each of his 17 matches for the Black Caps across all formats, dating to January 17 last year.

Australia have further cemented themselves as one of test cricket's finest sides after reclaiming the Border-Gavaskar Trophy for the first time in a decade with a six-wicket win over India in the fifth test at Sydney.

The victory means they now own every possible bilateral trophy in the red-ball format, to go with their status as test and 50-over world champions.

Australia will defend their world championship test crown against South Africa at Lord's in June.

South Africa continue to dominate Pakistan at stumps on the third day of the second and final test in their series.

The visitors were bundled out for 194 in their first innings at Cape Town, replying to the hosts' 615.

They are 213 for one following-on in their second dig - captain and opener Shan Masood is 102 not out, his sixth test century.

An injury concern for the Breakers after their 96-86 defeat to Perth in Auckland.

Guard Mojave King was sidelined for the second half with a calf problem.

The Breakers have lost nine of their last 10 games.

The Manchester United-Liverpool match remains scoreless at halftime with rain pelting Anfield in Premier League football.

Ipswich Town and Fulham drew 2-all.
