Questions remain, five years after an 18-year-old French exchange student disappeared in Auckland

Eloi Rolland didn't return to his host family's North Shore home in March 2020.

Cellphone data placed him on Piha Road.

A few days later - a French tourist reported speaking to him in a Te Anau holiday park - which Police couldn't confirm.

] His parents are now touring the South Island searching for him.
