A jury's found Hakyung Lee guilty of murdering her two young children, Yuna and Minu  Jo

A jury's found Hakyung Lee guilty of murdering her two young children, Yuna and Minu Jo

The 45-year-old's been on trial at the High Court in Auckland for just over two weeks.

The jury took just over three hours to reach a verdict.

Lee accepted she was responsible for killing them in 2018, and leaving their bodies in suitcases in a storage unit until they were found four years later.

Her claims to be insane at the time, triggered by her husband's death months before, weren't enough to convince the jury of her innocence

Lee stood in court in silence with her head bowed as the verdict was delivered.

She'll be sentenced on the 26th November.
