    A loaded gun's been taken off the streets - from a stolen vehicle spotted near Auckland Airport

    Police were alerted to a Toyota Hilux travelling along Tom Pearce Drive about three this morning.

    The Eagle helicopter followed - and officers on the ground blocked it in and arrested two people.

    A 29-year-old man's appearing in Manukau District Court today charged with unlawful possession of a pistol and ammunition and unlawfully taking a vehicle.
