The crown claims Hakyung Lee's children did not suffer the spontaneous deaths she claims

The crown claims Hakyung Lee's children did not suffer the spontaneous deaths she claims

The 45-year-old's on trial at the High Court at Auckland, accused of murdering her two young children in 2018 and hiding them in suitcases.

    Lee's mounted an insanity defence.

Crown lawyer Natalie Walker says it's possible the children died after Lee organised a name change, and purchased items potentially used to hide their bodies.

Walker says bagging their bodies would have required planning and determination.
