It took just over three hours for a jury to find Hakyung Lee guilty of murdering her two young children - 8-year-old Yuna Jo and 6-year-old Minu Jo

The 45-year-old claimed she decided to kill them with anti-depressants in 2018 alongside herself during a failed suicide attempt.

Lee's defence said she was insane following her husband's death, and didn't want her children to live without their parents.

But the jury sided with crown accusations her actions were calculated issuing the guilty verdict for both murder charges.

Lee was in the room when the verdicts were delivered, but kept her head bowed, staying silent as she was escorted out.
