    Labour leader Chris Hipkins is expected to rally supporters, MPs, and candidates in Auckland today - in an attempt to get the base ready for next year's election


    Labour's conference comes to a close after the leader's address.

    Hipkins says Labour will fight for every single vote it can possibly get.

    He says his party's plan is about making sure we rebuild New Zealand's future, to make sure we have a country people want to stay in, or want to come home to.
