Black Foils skipper Peter Burling's experiences with a wild Waitemata Harbour has him expecting enthralling racing for this weekend's Auckland stop of SailGP

Black Foils skipper Peter Burling's experiences with a wild Waitemata Harbour has him expecting enthralling racing for this weekend's Auckland stop of SailGP

Southerlies between 20 and 35 kilometres an hour are forecast this afternoon - ideal for racing, which starts at 4.

Yesterday's training was cancelled for most teams due to the forecast with the Black Foils, Spain and Germany allowed to test boat repairs.

Tomorrow's racing has been moved to an 11.30am start time.

Burling says the spectacle of the foiling catamarans in a strong breeze will be a sight to behold.
