Christchurch City Council says no previous complaints had been made about two dogs involved in an attack yesterday, that left three people injured

Christchurch City Council says no previous complaints had been made about two dogs involved in an attack yesterday, that left three people injured

One victim remains in critical condition, following the incident on Bevin Place in Bryndwr .

The dogs have been impounded, and the Council says the owner may voluntarily surrender them for euthanasia, though no decision has been made yet.

The attack comes days after a fatal mauling of a 62-year-old woman, by three dogs at a Northland property, and a separate dog attack in Timaru, left another person with moderate injuries on Andrew Street last night.
