    A search and rescue operation's come up empty in Dunedin's mountainside


    Police received a call around 9:30 this morning, from a person walking the Mackie Dackie track, in Whare Flat, who heard someone yelling for help.

    The caller could not locate the voice, and a following Police search found no sign of distress.

    Police say the voice likely came from a nearby address, and didn't point to trouble or further action.
