    A person has suffered serious injuries after an alleged attack in central Dunedin


    A police spokesperson said they were told about a grievous assault on George St at around 12.30am.

    The injured person was taken to Dunedin Hospital.

    A 24-year-old man was arrested and is due to appear in Dunedin District Court on a charge of wounding with intent to injure.
