Five youths are in custody - after a string of burglaries in Hamilton and Cambridge

It's alleged a group broke into two commercial premises, two stores and a service station using hammers, early on Monday and Tuesday.

Items were stolen and the premises damaged.

Police arrested five people after a stolen vehicle failed to stop in Nawton about midday yesterday.
