Police are hunting two men who carried out an armed robbery in Hamilton on Saturday

Police are hunting two men who carried out an armed robbery in Hamilton on Saturday

The pair aimed a firearm at a Liverpool Street bar's sole worker - demanding cash then leaving in a stolen vehicle.

They dumped the car on Islington Street, and fled in a waiting Toyota Surf, in turn abandoned in Te Awamutu.

Both vehicles are being forensically tested.

Anyone with information should contact Police.
