Police are asking residents in Hamilton's Bader to report finding any white clothing on their property

Authorities are investigating the death of an eight-year-old boy on Sunday - allegedly attacked with a hammer, while sleeping next to his father.

A 37-year old man has been charged with murder after the boy died in hospital.

Police are urging people living on Pine Avenue, Anthony Crescent, and Ansford Place to immediately contact them if they've come across the clothing.
