    Two people have been taken into custody after a man was assaulted in Auckland's Mt Wellington

    Two people have been taken into custody after a man was assaulted in Auckland's Mt Wellington


    He was found unconscious on the footpath on Meadow Street around 7pm yesterday - and taken to hospital in a critical condition, but is now stable.

    The pair will be referred to Youth Aid and Police will continue investigations.
