Two further injuries have smothered Wellington's mojo in a 1-all A-League football draw against Central Coast in Gosford

Two further injuries have smothered Wellington's mojo in a 1-all A-League football draw against Central Coast in Gosford

Ifeanyi Eze scored the Phoenix's opener inside four minutes, before the hosts equalised early in the second spell.

Hideki Ishige was sidelined with a knee niggle early, while fellow midfielder Fin Roa Conchie didn't return for the second half due to an ankle strain.

Coach Giancarlo Italiano says those absences affected their bid for a winner.

The Phoenix are fourth on the table, undefeated after three rounds.
