Keep your eyes peeled for a Wellington street sign

Keep your eyes peeled for a Wellington street sign

    Wigan Street is missing.

The Wellington City Council wants anyone who knows the location of the sign to get in touch.

Photos emerged at the weekend of a man walking through Cuba Mall carrying the uprooted signpost.

It was later sighted near Courtenay Place, but the city council's still unsure of its whereabouts.

Council spokesperson Richard McLean says they'll be able to sort out a replacement, but they could save a bit of money if the old sign is found.
