Frustration over protestors linked to Brian Tamaki and Destiny Church confronting and disrupting a cultural parade

Frustration over protestors linked to Brian Tamaki and Destiny Church confronting and disrupting a cultural parade

Video shows a group named the "True Patriots of NZ" performing a haka and confronting those in a Sikh parade in South Auckland yesterday afternoon.

The group were wearing tee-shirts saying "Keep NZ NZ" and "Kiwis First."

Chairperson of NZ Sikh Youth Jagbir Singh Chahal says the Sikh community has been an integral part of New Zealand society for over 100 years and Sikhs are Kiwis too.

Local Councillor Daniel Newman has also expressed frustration saying it was a peaceful procession and described the patriot group's views as "nonsensical."
