Residents Perth are just beginning 5 days hard lockdown that will see them staying home until Friday night

After confirming a positive Covid-19 case last night, the Western Australian Government announced the lockdown late this afternoon.

The positive test result came from a guard at a quarantine facility, but how he became infected is still under investigation.

The lockdown covers the entire Perth metropolitan region, the Peel region and the south-west region.
