An explanation from The European Union Ambassador to New Zealand over controls on Covid-19 vaccines

An explanation from The European Union Ambassador to New Zealand over controls on Covid-19 vaccines

The EU adopted a set of targeted and temporary measures over the weekend to control vaccine exports until the end of March 2021.

It means European-based pharmaceutical companies must seek authorisation before they export Covid-19 vaccines.

Nina Obermaier says we're not on the exemption list because it is focused on those countries in their immediate neighbourhood whose borders are open anyway, and those who fall under humanitarian assistance.
