    An Auckland woman's appeared in court, charged with stabbing a Christchurch taxi driver last night


    Police arrested 45-year-old Rangimaria Sellers at a hotel near the Memorial Ave McDonald's, where the victim had arrived with stab wounds, about 10.30pm.

    The driver has critical injuries but is stable.

    Sellers has been remanded in custody, until her next appearance on November 1.

    Police officers will be in the Spitfire Square area today.
