Mountain bikers, particularly men, are being urged to take it easy, this summer

Mountain bikers, particularly men, are being urged to take it easy, this summer

ACC's 2024 data ending in October reveals there were more than three-thousand mountain biking related injury claims, at the cost of around 18 million dollars.

This year, males were more than three times as likely to experience a mountain biking injury compared to females.

ACC's Injury Prevention Leader James Whitaker says there was a common trend with the cause of most of the injuries.

He says many are attempting jumps, without properly thinking through the landing.
