More aftershocks are expected in a remote region of Tibet's Himalayan foothills, which has been rocked by a deadly 7.1 magnitude earthquake

More aftershocks are expected in a remote region of Tibet's Himalayan foothills, which has been rocked by a deadly 7.1 magnitude earthquake

A major rescue operation's been launched to find survivors in freezing temperatures - with at least 120 dead and many other injured.

Reportedly, more than two thousand buildings damaged near the city of Shigatse .

The British Geological Survey's Roger Musson told the BBC, aftershocks could still bring some nasty moments.

He says they still haven't experienced the strongest aftershock, which is usually one magnitude weaker than the initial quake.
