A resident is claiming Auckland Transport construction has caused damage to his home

Pete Williams has been in a 30-month battle with AT over a raised pedestrian crossing outside his St Johns Road property.

Cracks are visible throughout his century-old home, including the kitchen, dining room, lounge, and bedrooms.

A report from PlasterTech Systems concludes at least 80-percent of the cracks were from the vibration of concrete judder bars being installed.

AT has commissioned an independent investigation into the damage.
