    Concern for train-driver well-being across the country - after a report's highlighted a number of near-misses

    Concern for train-driver well-being across the country - after a report's highlighted a number of near-misses

Track Safe data shows 642 recorded trespasses last year, about 60 of them near misses involving pedestrians.

Videos show people walking on tracks, crossing at unmarked areas and narrowly avoiding trains.

Track Safe Foundation Manager Megan Drayton says near misses can be just as impactful for drivers.

She says it's as traumatising as actual collisions - with increased heart rates and shortage of breath, after a narrow miss.
