    The northbound on-ramp at Tawa on State Highway 1 is closed in Wellington following a crash this morning


    Emergency services were called to the Tawa off-ramp around 6.20am.

    One person was seriously injured and taken to hospital.

    The northbound off-ramp remains open.

    State Highway 1 is closed northbound until the Keneperu on-ramp where traffic is able to rejoin State Highway 1.
