The Maori sealed the win with two late tries after leading 21-7 at halftime.
McMillan wasn't satisfied with his side's performance, and wants to see more toughness.
The NRL could deny Cronulla's Ronaldo Mulitalo a Queensland State of Origin debut, which could leave the Maroons scrambling for a game-day replacement.
Mulitalo was a late call-up to replace Warriors youngster Reece Walsh.
His eligibility's been questioned, after an article surfaced from 2019 claiming the wing moved to Queensland from New Zealand when he was 14.
Italy's advanced to the quarterfinals of the Euros following an entertaining 2-1 win in extra time over Austria at Wembley Stadium.
