    NZEI is taking legal action against the Government - over defunding Maori and literacy resource teachers in this year's Budget


    The union's filed for a judicial review at the High Court in Wellington today.

    It claims Education Minister Erica Stanford had decided to scrap the services - even before putting the move out for consultation.
