Former Maori Party co-leader Marama Fox has taken full responsibility for her actions

The 48-year-old has been disqualified from driving for six months and fined 590 dollars in the Hamilton District Court this morning following her drink-driving offence in November last year.

Herald reporter Nikki Preston was in court and says she was extremely apologetic.

She says Fox was accepting of any sentenced handed down to her and admitted she had made poor judgement.
