Simon Bridges wants to see a new era of relationship with Maori

Simon Bridges wants to see a new era of relationship with Maori

He spent the day at Waitangi yesterday.

The National Party leader says the Government should stop being a patronising parent to Maori.

He says he wants something quite different, which is much more autonomous and independent.

Bridges wants Maori to stand on their own two feet, tall and proud.
