A family member of three Waikato children missing for five months ... says Oranga Tamariki has "closed the file" and isn't checking on their welfare

It's thought Jayda, Maverick and Ember have been on remote west coast Waikato bushland near Marokopa with their dad, Tom Phillips - since December 2021.

The children's adult half-sister says agencies are dragging their feet and not taking serious steps to find them.

Oranga Tamariki says it can't comment because of privacy concerns - and because a case is before the courts.
