    A 20-year-old man's been arrested in relation to a Whakatane hit and run


    It occurred in Matirerau Street on June 21, with the victim remaining in hospital in a serious, but stable condition.

    Police have also located the white sedan believed to be involved.

    The man will appear in court tomorrow, charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

    Appeals continue for anyone with additional information.
