    There's a severe thunderstorm warning for South Waikato, Western Bay of Plenty and Rotorua


    The line of severe thunderstorms is moving towards the South-east landing above Rotorua after 9pm.

    MetService says anyone in its path should take cover as very heavy rain and potential flash flooding is possible.

    The warning is in effect until 9.15pm
