    Whangarei police are investigating an aggravated robbery earlier this week


    They were called to Manu Road superette about 6.30pm on Tuesday.

    Three people approached staff, one seemingly carrying a firearm.

    The workers took cover and activated a fog cannon as the offenders took cigarettes.

    The offenders eventually left in a vehicle, and Police want to speak to anyone who saw a silver Mazda Atenza in the area on Tuesday.

    Superette staff are unhurt but traumatised.
