    People in Auckland, Northland and other parts of the North Island will be holding their breath ... as Cabinet discusses traffic lights this afternoon


    It'll decide if the areas currently at the red level... are ready to move to orange.

    Today's is the only opportunity Cabinet has to loosen restrictions before Christmas... and there are already calls for Jacinda Ardern to move Auckland to orange.

    The Orange setting means the end of gathering limits for double-jabbed people.

    The Prime Minister will announce Cabinet's decision at 4pm.
