    A body has been found in the water near Whangapoua in the Coromandel, during the search for a missing fisherman


    It was located by a Coastguard fixed-wing plane, south of Kennedy Bay around 5:40pm yesterday.

    Police says it's likely to be the fisherman who's been missing since Christmas Eve.
