    A heavy rain watch remains in place for Gisborne and the Wairoa District

    A heavy rain watch remains in place for Gisborne and the Wairoa District


    The areas were hit by heavy rain last week causing flooding and damage.

    The watch is in place until 6pm.

    Peak rates of 10 to 15 millimetres an hour are forecast and thunderstorms are possible.
