First blood to Hawke's Bay in their rugby doubleheader against Northland in Napier

First blood to Hawke's Bay in their rugby doubleheader against Northland in Napier

The Hawke's Bay Tui have beaten the Northland Kauri 43-20 in the women's Farah Palmer Cup Premiership fixture.

The Tui led 12-10 at halftime before the Kauri seized the lead, 20-17... but it was one-way traffic from there for the hosts.

The Hawke's Bay Magpies put the men's Ranfurly Shield on the line again, against the Taniwha.
