    Authorities are still searching for one missing fisherman following a boating incident in Northland


    The vessel - which had two people onboard failed to return to Pataua South at about 7pm on Friday.

    Yesterday the boat was spotted by a member of the public before Coastguard towed it back to shore.

    Another member of the public then located a person dead in the water.

    A large-scale search is on-going to find the other missing person who was onboard.
