    The search for a missing fisherman is being scaled back in Northland - after one body was found on Saturday


    A vessel due back to Pataua South on Friday evening - with two on board - was found empty on Saturday morning, and one body recovered soon after.

    Rescuers are now taking time to rest and consider next steps.

    Daily shoreline searches are continuing, with hopes changing currents will help.
