    All six campers who were buried under a landslide at the base of Mount Maunganui have now been formally identified by the Coroner


    71-year-old friends Jackie Wheeler and Susan Knowles, 50-year-old Lisa Maclennan, 20-year-old Swedish tourist Måns Bernhardsson , and 15-year-olds Max Furse-Kee and Sharon Maccanico lost their lives when the slip crashed onto part of a campground last week.

    Ten-year-old Austen Richardson and his grandmother, 71-year-old Yao Fang were also killed in a slip in Papamoa that same day.

    A State of Emergency in Tauranga has been extended until Wednesday as support efforts continue across the city.
