    A number of people may have seen - or filmed - a serious assault on a woman in Hastings in which a gun was reportedly pointed at bystanders


    Numerous 111 calls were made just before 11am yesterday - to reports of a man assaulting a woman on Roberts Street.

    The woman's been hospitalised with head injuries.

    Police continue to hunt the man who is believed to know the victim - and confirm there'll be an increased Police presence in the area.

    Senior Sergeant Kevin Stewart's asking anyone with information to contact Police.
