Searchers have put more than 750 hours into the hunt for Roy Arbon - missing on the West Coast

Searchers have put more than 750 hours into the hunt for Roy Arbon - missing on the West Coast

There's still no sign of the 75-year-old after he left a note to say he planned to walk from Mount Davy to Mount Sewell, possibly overnight, more than a week ago .

Phone records have revealed Arbon's phone was in an open area two kilometres south of Mount Davy, on Thursday afternoon.

But there's been no definitive footprints, discarded items, or scent to track.

Senior Sergeant Mark Kirkwood says they're not giving up and will be back out there with specialist search dogs in the coming weeks.
