The former site of Timaru's meat works is up for sale

The former site of Timaru's meat works is up for sale

Six-hundred jobs were lost, when Alliance Group shut the historic Smithfield plant in December.

Now, the land and buildings are being sold -- marketed as 32 hectares with a 'multitude of options for developers and occupiers alike'.

The site is for sale by deadline private treaty closing in a month's time -- unless sold prior.
