A coroner has found failure to wear seatbelts contributed to the deaths of four men in a Canterbury crash

A coroner has found failure to wear seatbelts contributed to the deaths of four men in a Canterbury crash

The collision claimed the lives of Junwoo Park, Sangseo Kim, and coach Bum-Hee Cho in Geraldine in August last year.

Hyunseo Han later died in hospital in December.

They were all members of a Korean ski racing school in New Zealand for the Winter Games.

Coroner Mary-Anne Borrowdale says all four might have survived if they had been wearing seatbelts.
