    The Otago Sparks cricketers lead the early running in the women's T20 Super Smash competition, topping the table after a second straight win


    Otago have thrashed the winless Central Hinds by seven wickets, easily chasing down the visitors' sub-par target in Alexandra.

    The Sparks finished on 117 for three inside 15 overs.

    Sparks captain Polly Ingles told TVNZ they weren't focused on the numbers.
